Jordan Purvis
I run the operation behind the performance.
Live production direction, touring, and artist operations for Grammy and Tony Award–winning artists — turning creative ambition into executed reality, night after night.
Most people in live production came up through logistics. I came up through sound.
I spent years behind the board — recording at Capitol, EastWest, and Ocean Way, and mixing front of house at The Hollywood Bowl, The Kennedy Center, and Walt Disney Concert Hall. That foundation changed everything: if you've stood where the artist stands, you lead the operation differently.
The work grew beyond the mix. I started running tours, managing seven-figure production budgets, and operating as the through-line between artists, management, agents, promoters, venues, and crews — the person responsible for making sure it all holds together when it matters.
Today I lead live production and touring operations for award-winning artists, building the systems that let ambitious performances happen on time, on budget, and at a standard the audience feels but never sees.
Trusted by Grammy and Tony Award–winning artists across 400+ concerts, $30M+ in managed production, and national touring at the highest level.
Live Production Direction
I own the show from pre-production through the final note — aligning technical, creative, and logistical elements so that nothing between the artist and the audience is left to chance.
Touring Operations
Multi-city national tours across major markets. I build and run the infrastructure — advancing, budgets, travel, crew, vendors — so the entire operation moves as one unit, every night.
Audio Engineering
Front-of-house and studio work at the highest level. World-class rooms, symphonic performances, and top-tier vocal talent — the technical foundation that still shapes how I hear and lead.
Artist Operations
I sit between the artist and the complexity. Protecting creative bandwidth, maintaining schedule integrity, and ensuring that every stakeholder is aligned — so the artist only has to think about the work.

Preparation is protection.
The best shows look effortless because someone made a thousand decisions before the doors opened. I build systems that anticipate — so teams can execute with confidence and artists can perform without friction.
Sound is how I think.
Coming up as an engineer didn't just teach me audio. It taught me to listen — to a room, to a team, to what an artist isn't saying. That instinct drives every operational decision I make.
Standards are quiet.
I'm not interested in the loudest way to do things. I'm interested in the most precise, the most considered, the most sustainable. Excellence should be felt, not performed.
The work behind the work is the work.
Good work starts with a conversation.
Whether it's a tour, a one-off production, or a larger operational conversation — I'm always interested in work that demands real standards and genuine care.
